Is Christmas shopping a Christian event?

Must do Corby it has Christ in its name!!

Er, without Christ - there wouldn't be Christmas anything.......just saying.

It appears someone else had their finger on the suspend button so saved me the effort.  Thank you.

Christmas markets wouldn't exist without Christmas.  Of course they're a Christian thing.

You cannot have it both ways, if we're telt to say '"winter" holidays etc to not offend other religions?' why are the markets not called "winter markets

Currently in Spain and they're not holding back virgin and baby-wise.

No concessions to other religions that I can see and it's all  going fine, smiles all round.

What are the religious elements in a Christmas market?

Do non-Christians stay away from those markets?

Including "Christmas" in the name of a product or event is no indication it is related to Christianity, only that it is available or taking place in the Christmas period.

^Nonsense.  None of it would happen without Christmas - and Christmas wouldn't happen without Christianity.  Don't knock it.  Given the subject of this thread treasure it whilst you may.
