Have you cut yourself shaving ?

If so, claim from the razor company, and get £5,000 because of such a "traumatic experience".

I kid you not :-

Faulty razor.

I don't think you can clain for the usual nick.

My dad often stands too close to his razor....

If the razors, in this case, were faulty and acknowledged as such, I think it's fair enough to bring this to the attention of the manufacturer.

If there was a fundamental problem with the product, which it appears there was given the picture of the cut, then this doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

If you purchased a new bicycle, and on the first time of using it you face-planted because the pedals broke, you'd expect recompense wouldn't you?

Same principle.

Good for him. My wife got more than that when she was injured by a faulty blender. One letter with photos and a statement from the GP was all it took. The product was recalled

A faulty razor certainly but why after cutting one cheek which bled for 20 minutes he then carries on and cuts the other cheek?

("my cuts bled for twenty minutes")

vulcan - if he was shaving quickly he might make several strokes in a matter of seconds not realising he was cutting himself. He wouldn't wait 20 mins between strokes!
