I don't have a garden 😞

Only if you were living on a ship. Salvage rights are a maritime thing.

Then you don't have a moral dilemma, either.

^. That to Davebro

are they using drones? do they crash? can I claim compensation?

No. Just as you can't keep goods misdelivered to your address

Salvage rights is to do with actually saving things. Will the mess in the garden have much to offer?

Question Author

They plan to start deliveries in Doncaster.

Doncaster?  They  would have to be really lost if they land up in Belfast.😂

As with most windfalls in this country the state would get it's sticky fingers on it if it was worth having.

Chuck III may have first dibs if it was something he fancied.

Darlington

Who would know (providing you removed the evidence and claimed the crash destroyed any monitoring)?

And could you claim damages for any injury ?

it will end in tears

van drivers will be shooting 'em down!

What would you do with a crashed drone ?

I doubt that finders keepers works well in court.

Very dangerous to drop goods as the advert shows.  Anything or anbody could be in the garden or on the path.

Given the "different delivery address" facility available in Amazon you could have some fun with this. Bombarding Truss with lettuces, Starmer with farm stuff, ditto Clarkson, and so on.

Who and what would you send (assuming money no object), and no I don't want any birdseed.

Whatever is said here, the goods and the drone are not your property, and you have no right to keep them. You should inform Amazon, or the police, and let somebody responsible take the things away.

Darlington to London!! How long would that take??

christ sake no

what are you thinking of

crashing drone causing damage, - covered by ;aw of negligence

if a car careers into  your garden are you allowed to keep the car ( an any bodies) chrissakes

has everyone on AB gone to la-la land ( lotus eaters etc)
