The leaves are shaped like those on a nettle, but a reddish/pink colour along the central rib.

Etch has it.  

My cleaner brought some cuttings.  I've got them planted in small pots.  If they survive they'll go out into the garden later.

Coleus is easily grown from seed, and makes a nice house plant.
