Sorry these are coming one at a time. For number 23 I can think of a couple of animals whose names end with the name of a cereal but can't fit the first part of the clue in.

No. There isn't an eskimo connection with the answer. Only with igloos.

Postings are crossing so thank you all very much ... just one thing ... is this normal. I still am not on the screen after about 30 mins. I can only view this on a thread. No wonder sometimes my questions come up complete with several answers, you can see it to answer but I can't. How spooky !!! xx

Nice clue crofter. I was trying to think of a mutual surname for the characters.

Glad you've got the answers, earthakitten. For number 25, I think the compiler just invented a plausible sentence that included the hidden word pig. It could have been about anything, eg ' Cop ignites fireworks.

Yes, so much so that I'm giving up for now. By the time I get on line with my answer someone else has done the honours. I thought it was just my computer.
