Would you pay that much - for anyone - and if so, who?

Yes, if they were prepaired to play in my back garden.

I can't think of any event I'd pay 2 bags for.

People pay that for rubber chicken and a chance to rub shoulders with the great and the good at charidee events quite often.

To see an addled geriatric Brummie not so much.

No, I wouldn't, living, dead, past or present.

They are reuniting for charity, if that makes any difference - Acorn Children's Hospice and Parkinsons (I think) - and there will be an several popular metal bands as support.

Fortunately I'm going to the Electric Light Orchestra farewell on the same night, only £100.

No. There are better things to spend 2k on. Holidays for example.

Don't miss the last train to London. 😉

Never in a 'month of Sundays'.

I believe tickets started at a "more reasonable" £250.

I've been trying to get a ticket to see Francis Rossi in Bury St Edmunds on my birthday in April.  I decided that I'd be prepared to pay up to about £250 for a ticket with a face value of £42 but my budget simply doesn't stretch to paying a couple of grand for one!

(I've now bought a £66 ticket for his new show in Ipswich in October but it won't be the same as going to see him on my birthday.  So I'm still looking for a ticket to see him in April as well).

No, I would not!

ELO,  I might for £100. Brilliant band.

I would pay £20 to see and hear Tom Jones, in fact, I did.

No.

Nobody.

19:20 as long as you get what you're proposing!

The prices for Rossi tickets are going down down apparently.

Deeper and down.
