The Week was advertised in the Telegraph a while back. You could send for 6 free issues. It is posted to you weekly. It covers the weeks events and the reporting of them from various sources. It is quite condensed, and I quite like it, only get bogged down with the crossword!

Hope this site helps.

... Many thanks for information and website for The Week Pauline. Trust me to miss the advertisement, I get the Telegraph every day but probably spend too long reading the sports section to the exclusion of other matters of interest.
I reckon the weekend puzzles can be fitted in before and after rugby Saturday afternoon and then a meal out Saturday evening, eight of us going (for sister-in-laws birthday). I normally do two crosswords on Saturday but try to do five from Telegraph and Mail on Sundays. May be a problem this week if suffering after effects (hangover)!
Most importantly I am aiming to win the Herculis links challenge this week, or at least achieve one out of four, as so far have had absolutely no guesses right!!
