I cant believe I did that !!

Earlier this evening while I was driving home A dog was running around in thje road across a large roundabout where I need to turn right to get home.
I was that busy watching the dog and looking out for its safety that I drove the wrong way round the roundabout - even though it was only a short distance there were lots of other cars about.
I cant believe I did that !!!
I feel as if I should ring the police and confess to my misdemeanor in case anyone else reports me.
What would you do ? TIA Elaine x
