Retaining wall
2 Answers
We have had two retaining walls built in our garden, which have been 'plastered' with a concrete/sand mix (I think) and are brown/buff coloured. I want to paint them but am not sure if the paint will flake off over the winter, as we have clay soil behind the walls which holds water for a long time i.e. the paint would get 'attacked' from the back.
Would ordinary masonary paint be sufficient?

I think you stand a good chance if you can paint the render while its dry, I'd use a good qaulity one, the type they paint light houses with!
Failing that you could use the type of paint used in swimming pools but I'm not sure if it comes in any other colours other than sky- blue. Good Luck Tbird+
