I've no idea and even if we've got a trained vet on here I expect that they'd find it dificult to diagnose without seeing her. Take her to see a vet straight away.
Does she go out? Is there any possibility that she has been hit by a car?
Don't wait for an answer on here.. Take her to the vet for a check-up pronto!! She could have had a fall (cats can't ALWAYS land on their feet), or as Saff says could have been hit buy a car or received a nasty bite to the muscle/nerves in the leg. If you can't afford the usual vet, then go to the PDSA.
We had this happen to two cats (Seperate occasions of course!)Both times we took them to the vets who said it was a fractured pelvis. We were told it was either a car of bitten by a fox. Please take it to a vet ASAP. :o)
Sorry about that, should read " or bitten by a fox".
I agree with what everyone else says, get the poor thing to a vet as she could be suffering and may need treatment right away. Let us know how you go on
I hate to ask but did you have your cat declawed? Contrary to what some people think it is total mutilation. I feed a few outside cats and just recently noticed that two of them had their front claws removed - they are all cats which were dropped off in the woods near my house - the two who were "detoed" both have very gangly front feet and walk very much on the backs of their feet - the poor things... I hope that isn't what it is, for the love of your cat, but if you did have it's claws removed, consider it a possibility...
