Myself and my boyfriend are looking into running a bar abroad. In spain most likely. Are there any websites that tell you the steps you need to take in order to do this or something similar? We'd be grateful for any help!

first of all my advice is dont bother with bars i live just inland from the costa del sol bar change hands on average about three times a year. You will have to speak the language and you would need an ni number. The spanish goverment have just introduced new laws to bring all retail outlets up to european standards of with allmost all fall very short of.With mean you could end up with a masive bill to update.the spanish will sell you anything even if it dose not belong to them and you have no redress under spanish law. If you do go ahead please be very carefull i've seen lots of people lose everything
I live on the Costa Blanca, and find a great site is
www.angloinfo.com It gives loads of advice, and has forums too, so you can ask questions.
Hope this helps
I live on the Costa del Sol and there is a firm here which advertises extensively (now I can't find them of course!) called 'Find a Bar Spain'. They have many properties and I'm sure would be able to advise you. Good luck.
