I Need a Hug

I now I'm a regular on here for these kinda questions... but here goes...
Another guy I like, well I didn't like him... He liked me.
We met on holiday and got on really well, and few weeks ago he told me that he really liked me... and had done for ages, but i wasn't really interested.
Then I kind of took notice, and found how nice he was. So we weren't going out or anything, but we knew we both really liked each other.

And hes just told me that he doesn't feel the same... and I feel a little crushed...
I dunno whether theres any spelling mistakes in here for all that lot who are perfect...
but i cant actually read it for the tears

Maybe it was the initial rejection. I know that i've found it hard in the past when I liked someone who initially didn't feel the same then changed. Pride is a funny and destructive thing.

Maybe he feels suspicious as to how your feelings have changed and isn't sure if he wants to risk his feelings.

Just carry on as friends if you can, it may be hard but with a bit of understanding and such on boths sides it can be done and at least you could have a lovely friendship, if it's right then things will happen.

so reading between the line?? you dont like marzipan until you cant have it, then you want it more because its now off the menu?

one day you ill meet the right person before you know it you will be living together with a massive motgage or rent around your neck with 2 kids screaming all day because they want want want and no doubt your christmas shopping will be the next agenda giving you grief and this happens every bloody year and in the back of your head whilst doing the ironing or washing sh1tty knickers you will be thinking to yourself "i wish i was bloody single"???
