I have a feeling we have seen the last of BB which is a shame ..she seemed a nice lady .....someone is asking for a recipe for meat cooked in Cola and she gave a good one for ham cooked in cola but I can't find it !!

A good try warpig. I tried a subtle attempt the day before yesterday trying to get peanut butter recipes. I thought as she was an American lady this may draw her back out. Alas no luck. We did try yesterday as well more directly.

Its such a shame.

Was just thinking last night, it may not be anything to do with pixie so we shouldn't be too harsh, maybe BBW has gone on holiday and this is just a coincidence. Hope so.

lol at myself, just rereading the post and Athley saying about his/her subtle attempt yesterday. Mine is anything but subtle! Still didn't workl though!

Maybe you're right warpig and she's gone on holiday. I'd rather think that than someone has upset her. That's not a nice thought. Bit of a coincidence though that pixie person not posted either!

Guess what. The pixie is on animals and nature in the pet section today asking about a kitten. So he/she is back.

The mean people had won - I stopped signing on to and posting on AB. It had happened several times before - and once before - when a mean person said all of my recipes were the kind to make people have a heart attack - when I had posted a recipe I had seen being made by a lady chef on our Food Network on TV for Cheeseburger Soup. I responded by telling them that I had not personally tried the recipe and that I wasn�t recommending it be served in massive quantities or on a daily basis. I decided it just wasn�t worth taking the abuse - and many times lack of any response at all - for my tiny effort to help some of the people who had questions on AB. This time was just the �last straw� for me. I gave up. I didn�t sign on AB for days. Now being an old lady - it is very difficult to surprise me. I have lived too long and seen and done too much.

One day, missing the interesting questions on AB, I decided to just READ the questions, even though I still NEVER intended to post again. There, I got one of the biggest surprises of my life!!! Several people had Posted on my parting apology to one of the mean people - cameo, shaneystar2, In A Pickle, warpig1 and spk - not only that, but they were all very supportive and so very kind in saying they wanted me to come back!!! That was a big enough shock - but there was more to come. Athley posted a question entitled �BBWCHATT� asking me to come back - and there were responses from warpig1, janetsflower, sophieb and jennyp asking me to come back also. Then Warpig1 came up with a unique approach to lure me back - asking me for my favorite �Taco Soup� recipe - which also had responses from shaneystar2 and Athley!!!

This old lady is famous (or infamous) for never changing her mind once she has made a decision. That was before I encountered some of the kindest and nicest people in the world.

�Mean people� beware - BBWCHATT is back and she won�t let you get rid of her ever again!!!

How do you make an old lady from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA feel like a million dollars? Ask the �nice people� on AB - they are experts at it!!!

Thank you �nice people� from the bottom of my heart. You have made me �feel like a million dollars� and humbled all at the same time!!!!

Well it's nice to see you back BB.
I shall look forward to seeing some more recipes .
There is good and bad wherever you go in life ,good mannered and bad mannered,non of us are perfect however much we try to be or think we are ! We all have our opinions ..some are just a little more up front with them than others ! Just pay no attention to the knockers . Don't let them put you off something you enjoy. I have often been ripped into on here but to quote one of your great actors "Frankly my dear ..I don't give a damn ".!!
