Alright MATE
19 Answers
I have a friend who lies so much and when we go out at weekends he steals from shops, it's usually clothes but he stole an iPod once. Today I kind of dropped him in it when I went to buy something but he changed the tag and I didn't even know.
It's a shame because he used to be a really good friend. I don't think I'll bother going out with him again, we've gone out every week for like 7 years.
Have any of you ever had a similar problem or best friend problem where you had to do something to change the way things were? What came of it? Please share your stories.

you get to realize that you cant change people,we are who we are. the only thing you can do is either never see this thief, yes THIEF again or just turn a blind eye!!
i chose to turn a blind eye with my mates, who, by the way were not thieves, just idiots and they grew out of it eventually???

Oh yes..sadly quite a few.
I had a friend who stole of me and other people amongst other problems including being a compulsive liar and had issues with drugs. I had a weekend away with my fiancee at the time and she went mad at me and after the stealing incident she avoided me and other friends like the plague. She went out with a very good friend of mine and caused havoc for him as well and often getting me caught in the middle including a nasty hospital incident where she collapsed on me and then tried to make him believe she had harmed herself because of him when they split up.
I also had a very emotionally manipulative ex who would get their own way by threatening suicide and cutting themselves and showing me in a look what you made me do way. I finally stood up to them, had tried to help them so many times. It wa sonly by change a mutual friend popped in on them unexpectedly that they discovered they were legging it abroad, not telling anyone and therefore sparking a panic. Not seen or heard from them since.
In all cases it's probably a good thing. I'm far better at choosing friends these days!

I swaped the price tags on a snooker cue once and paid 7.50 for a 50 cue.
But an old friend of mine would nick anything for no apparent reason...we came out of sports shop once and he pulled out a tennis racket from under his jumper,
I drew the line when he nicked a fiver from my mums purse...the worse thing about that is she thought I was in on it

My older sister used to hang round with a girl called K**** and she was the worst (or best ~ depends on your viewpoint!) tea leaf in the south east. We were in a market once and she was taking quite a time at a clothes stall. When she finally paid for her purchase and we left, she handed my sister a sports bag. Thinking nothing of it, my sister gave it to me to take to the car About 5 mins later the police grabbed K**** and asked her to go back to the stall. The stall holder reckoned there was over 100 worth of gear gone. She had the bag with her 'purchase' in it, and as she had the receipt and no other gear on her she was believed. She then had the brass neck to ask for compensation for being wrongly accused. The stall holder was so apologetic he let her take another top for free. After that my sis stopped seeing her. The stupid bit about all this was she was from quite a well off family and there was no need for her to nick anything, she just did it for the thrill. Hey Pippa ~ I hope your mate's name wasn't K**** or you'll know all about this
