Does anyone know of a murder that took place at maybe at The royal Oak Pub on Barking Road please? I say maybe but it was the landlord who was murdered and it may not have taken place n the premises. I am going back some time but don't know what year.

That is one where the murder was
Thank you Memore but that is too recent. I think from what my friend has said it would have been somewhere in the 30's - 40's. but thank you for your reply.
I do agree with you on one thing though E13 has gone down hill fast. My Mum used to live there and I knew it 50 years ago. It was a thriving area then and very friendly. We went back (ok I know you shouldn't!!) last year to have a look at the old places and oh boy, what a change. Not for the better either. The only thing the same was the pie and mash shop lol.
