i spend all day being bored at work, looking at the clock, anyone got any advice how to make the day go faster? (i have buggar all work) xxx

You need to change your job!! Or just spend all day on the Answerbank!! You could do your Christmas shopping on line, write your Christmas cards etc.

Or see if one of your work colleagues has too much work and help them out.

Tidy things up and organise some new systems or something, think of ways to get new work in.

Marley2000, you are not the only one, I have exactly the same problem and I know others on this site who have the same problem too. I honestly think it's harder being bored than being really busy... it's soul destroying.

well, fortunately im almost finished here, ive been temping doing office work because im going travelling next week (ive been here for a couple of months, but it's felt like longer because feel like ive had to stay here because i couldn't get another because i needn't the money for our trip!) i think ive filed everything i can! arrgghh!!!

Where are you travelling to? How exciting. As a suggestion you could "google image" locations you are going to visit to get you smilling and make the day fly by a little quicker.

my desktop background is where im going and i have several pics saved onto my pics! im going to vietnam for a month with my boyfriend, i asked peeps under travel about it as well so got some more lovely ideas where to go. talking about it now makes my day less depressing! big hugs to all those who are equally bored!xxx

I'm dreading going back to a fulltime job with resposibilities and targets and budgets to meet.

u could get a full time job which doesn't have targets etc? a permanent role with little responsability?x working life is tricky x

I had this problem! One way to solve it is to jack in the job and become self employed. Because any time lost is your own the clock actually whizzes by.

i would love to be self employed, moneys no gurantee tho is it...although moneys not everything we all still need to pay the bills :-(
