Alopecia?
18 Answers
Yesterday I noticed I have a patch around my front hair line, near my temple where I've lost a lot of hair. I can just about cover it up by brusing over the rest of my hair. I've noticed over the past few months that my hair is falling out a lot more then usual when washing and brushing. Could this be a sign of alopecia or am I just being really paranoid? I'm 23 if that has any baring.

May be best to get to a doctors and get yourself checked out. Maybe something simple that can be remedied quickly and have your mind put at rest.
Even if it is something like that then you can get the help and advice you need and probably the sooner the better.

hi milly, sorry to hear about your hair. I had the same thing when I was in my mid 20's. I had a patch near my temple just like you and also a patch on the crown of my head. I saw the doctor and he gave me some cream to put on it, i cant remember what it was as it was so long ago. It may have been some sort of steroid type cream. Anyway I used it for ages and nothing happened :( then one day I felt little stubbly hairs growing and I was over the moon. The doc said it was due to stress and is almost always temporary. Hope you get it sorted soon and try not to worry too much because it may not be as noticeable as you think :)
Of course I know perfectly well what I did and of course you are entitled to your opinion however, most people tend to voice their opinions in a more civilised way. What this has to do with my original question on this thread has escaped me and I find it slightly disturbing that you have those images so readily available. Maybe you should consider knocking that chip off your shoulder and getting on with your own life then worring about those of people you no nothing about.
I don't have then readily available.I just typed abortion pics into google clicked in the address bar and then pasted it .It took me all ot 30 seconds.Oh and yes I did notice the fact you didn't address my argument because you have nothing to say in your defence but I don't want to go into that.At least I am happy knowing I never stupidly got myself pregnant and then had it cut into pieces so that I could live my life the way I wanted to. Goodbye I am going to go and see the answers I got to my question whuich surprise surprise got way more then your question.
