Children's Programme from late 80's

Can anyone remember a kids programme that had a woman who wore a teddy bear back pack which came alive and she somehow never noticed! I have vague memories of this but one of the episodes they travelled in a gypsy caravan and the bear/backpack would sit up front with her and look around when she wasn't looking. Me and my sister are the only people who seem to remember this. I'm pretty sure this was on BBC 1 about the same time as Green Claws!

i can vaguley remember this show it had a littl esong at the start-
"hes not just any old teddy bear kind,
that anyone anywhere just might find,
oh no this bears, a bear behind."

if that rings a bell it was called A Bear Behind - it was a bear backpack- gey the joke? lol

this was all i could find, seem lindsay coulton on eastenders ws in it
