The Safety Tool!!!

I have some kind of a Trojan I believe, on my comp..called "The Safety Tool"...it has hijacked my homepage and I keep recieving warnings of a virus on my comp from the small yellow balloons you get at the toolbar. I've downloaded "Spybot" and thought I had eradicated it, when it found the trojan "zlob". However, the problem still persists. When I try to delete the files from my hard drive, I'm told they're either protected or are in use, so I thought I'd go on processes and end the relevant ones....still wouldn't delete it. Any ideas anyone?
