You would need a LOT of info on him if you were to try and track him down. I mean to say , it's like asking how many Ricky's work for the council in London ? Do you know his surname and which area in Glasgow he works in ? Why not contact the Daily Record newspaper and put out an appeal for anyone who knows of his whereabouts to give you a call ? There is a section in the paper called "Help" on the "Your View" page where readers can appeal for information on lost friends , loved ones etc. The contact details are as follows : E-mail [email protected] , text 07781484422 or write to Daily Record , 1 Central Quay , Glasgow G3 8DA. I would highly recommend this route to try and regain contact with him as opposed to contacting his personnel Dept. who will most definitely NOT give you any information on him as Secretspirit quite rightly says , as this would be a blatant breach of the Data Protection Act. The Daily Record is such a widely read newspaper that the chances are extremely high that even if HE doesn't read it , someone will recognise the info on him and be quick to let him know ! If you put as much detail as possible into your appeal , then it will make it easier to identify him as otherwise you will have a lot of trouble trying to trace him in a big city with such vague details. Good luck and PLEASE do let us know how you get on x
