husband problem please help.

my husband is a great man but he puts his hands over his ears when he does not want to listen to what I have to say. This does bother me. Have you got any ideas on how to handle this situation? I would really appreciate your help on this matter. It does upset me.

Please be assured..Covering the ears while in the vicinity of a full on rant from a wife offers no real protection to the listener.I have even tried la la la ing while covering mine all to no avail ! .Whatever you say will be heard but maybe not acted on. Joking aside do the same to him .He will soon get the message.

My husband switches off but if he put his hands over his ears, I would be tempted to throw something at him. He would soon move them then. Joking aside, it's not really funny. As chaotica says,try doing the same to him.

I am guilty of this, I have also been kn ow to sing lalalala at the same time. Have you tried walking away when he does it, leaving it for a reasonable amount of time and then going back and approaching the subject again. At least if you have time to think about you can come up with more valid and constructive points. I am assuming you are having a little rant when he does this.

you could always write him a letter, and if he starts covering his eyes, then you could talk, cos he cant cover both at once? failing all that............ just leave him! lol
