Does anyone remember a children's book from years ago with an Elephant in a suit? He lived in a big house and opened lots of doors to different places. Thanks in advance!

There were a series of books about Babar the Elephant. He wore a suit and had lots of adventures.

The books were translated from their original French editions, with the first English version dating back to 1937.

Many of the titles, by Jean & Laurent de Brunhoff, are still in print today.
