shopping in Paris

My wife and I have been invited by a Parisienne friend to stay in Paris for a few days next Easter. What should we be looking to shop for that we can't get here in the UK, or that we can obtain better and/or cheaper in Paris? Thanks from Greenrook
P.S. Any ideas on getting there from West Cornwall - my missis says no way will she go under the sea - (she has to to grit her teeth to get in a lift) so the Chunnel is out

it wont be cheaper then here,you will have to fly or go by ferry.

Easjet now fly from Bristol to Paris, and Flybe from Exeter to Paris. Only things we tend to bring back are wine and cheese.
