You see , i'm a bit of a scatterbrain at times. Flickering lights is a good indication for most people that their lights are going to cut out but I leave it until they actually do until I decide that that would probably be a good time to look out some candles. According to the weather which is on just now , it's set to be wet again tomorrow but without the gales. Hmmmm , we'll see.
It beats me why people go to the Forge or Braehead because I think that Ek has it all. It was in the EK news a while back too that they are set to expand it again - which I was shocked by because it's already huge. Apparently they are injecting billions into it to catapult into a league of it's own which will put them poles apart from every other centre nationwide. (So they say) As well as what it currently has , it is meant to have over the future : a 1000 seat capacity theatre , an art gallery , museum , mini zoo , another major competitor supermarket which hasn't been named yet but will ruffle Sainsbury's feathers , an even bigger ice rink , bigger cinema , bigger library , various other retailers etc. A lot of the elderly people in EK seem a bit annoyed by the expansion because they feel that the town is getting too big now but I think that it'll be great when it's finished and well worth a visit. My only concern is that it's a 10 year project which will bring major disruption to the centre and will further exacerbate the congestion problem. A shopaholics dream though and a husband's nightmare !
