Yes and yes!!!

You look a total plank flinging yourself round the room with the hand remote mind, but it's great fun, highly recommend 'em.

They're very much worth getting, but it's also worth bearing in mind that there's not a great deal of software avaialbe yet that really makes the system shine.

The likes of Wii Sports, which comes bundled witht the console, and Zelda are abiu the only games worth getting, bt that will change as time goes on.

But as pure unadulterated fun, i've yet to have a bad experience.

I've also got an Xbox 360, and whil eI love that system to death, the wii is more fun to play with other people in the room.

And don't worry about looking like a plank - I just got back from my folks' where I took it down to show off, and my dad, who last played me at videogames in the early nineties at Blades Of Steel on the NES, had a great laugh swinging his arms around like a demented Pete Sampras.

i dont reccomend it as i broke my tv with the pathetic strap that comes on the controller, otherwise its amazing... i heard they are withdrawing them till july soon to get it fixed though...

I bought one for my 38 year old boyfriend and he loved it. We took it to my parents for xmas day and played bowling and hes been on it everyday since playing zelda. Im also looking at getting the rayman rabbit game for a bit of a laugh with friends.

I was astonished to receive one of these on christmas day as they were sold out everywhere practically.

The Wii sports is fantastic, giving you the opportunity to take a fitness test on a daily basis. I am 35 yrs old and my first time on the fitness measured my results to the age of 76. I have got it down to 37 now which must mean i'm getting fitter or more skillfull with the remote.

I also received Red Steel which has been a great game, I just wish I didn't have to work, then I could play it all day.
