dvd camcorders???

Hi guys dont want to seem ignorant but do they make a camcorder that films direct to a dvd disc???and if so what are the best makes????thanks in advance ian.

This is a minefield, both technical and price wise.

Go to a good store like Jessops where you can handle them and discuss them - get a feel for them and see what you can get for your money.

I suggest you buy one of the specialist magazines first - read the reviews, the terminology and so on.

I'm sure you'll have great fun when you do buy one.

Don't forget - the prices of these tend to fall, so don't feel pressured to buy one just because it's a 'bargain'.
