watching dvds

Is there anyway I can watch a dvd on my computer without a dvd drive by downloading software?

All the software in the world wont help unless you have something that can actually physically read the disk.

If you have access to another computer that does have a DVD drive then you can use that machine to rip the DVD. Either turn it into a disk image or a bunch of files which PowerDVD will play.

But DVD drives are less than �30 so it's hardly worth the effort.
