Age Gap

Im sure there are already lots of age gap questions on here but i suppose everyones different!
Im 26 and am seeing a 19 year old!
His sister is 17 and seeing a 28 year old!
What do you think of these age gaps - too much??

Age aint nothing but a number hun. But a lot of people have prejudices, my mum and dad went mad when they found out I'd been having a bit of a fling with a 17 year old (i'm 23). I told them to get stuffed!

Whats more important.. what you and the others involved in the relationships think, or what people here think? Presumably you guys involved in these relationships are happy, so why does it matter what anyone here thinks?

For what its worth, In my opinion no, there is no problem with the age gaps you mentioned.

26 and 19 is fine. you are in the same decade so no big deal at all. you cant really tell difference between 26 and 19 yr old anyway. Im 26 and my boyfriend just turned 20. It aint nothing. Its not like im 36.

Thats no problem, its true what they say about age being just a number, the important thing is whether you can communicate or not. Ive met many 40 yr olds with the maturity of a 16 yr old and many 16 yr olds that are very mature so you just cant judge by a persons age. I met my husband when he was 19 and I was 27. I also have a friend who is 14yrs older than her husband and they have 2 adorable boys and are very happy together.

I think that depends on you. I went out on friday night and spend a large portion of it talking to a guy who reckoned he was in his early 20s but to me he looked 18/19. As pretty as he was it made me feel like a dirty old woman and I am 27, plus much teasing from friends about achild abuse etc etc I havent been responding to texts. Not for me at all. However I would gladly date a 34 yr old.

Nah not at all age gaps dont really matter unless of coure you are dating someone under 16!My mum is 42, and my step dad is 32, and i am 22!!!talk about that for age gaps! And then theres me 22, and my brother is 4!!!

Hey, Im 30 and my girlfriend is 24. We've been going out nearly five years. So when I was 26 she was 19, turning 20. At first I was freaked but after a few weeks in her company I was too happy to care!

Hi, I am 27 and my fella is 36 to be honest we do not notice the 9 yr age gap and people do not beleive that there is that bigger age gap between us, we have been together 3 yrs getting married soon. The only time we can tell our age gap is when he talks about something on the tele when he was a kid, or a song he liked!!! .

my boyfriend is 27 and i'm 19 and we don't notice the age difference at all really. He's quite immature for his age infact and doesn't seem to want to grow up!
As someone else said, we only notice a difference in age when he talks about tv or music or fashions/fads when he was little and I wasn't even thought of!

If it helps, I'm 33 and my wife is 56 - we have been married for the last 3 years and going out for 10 years.

(And we are very happy!)
