I have just purchased a new computer, which comes with a 15.4" wide screen tft monitor. When windows is loading up I can see the full screen, but once the desktop appears, I can no longer see the right hand side of the screen unless I scroll across, this also happens when I access the internet also. I have been into control panel>display>appearance & checked the resolution in there, which appears to match the instructions that came with my screen (Suggested resolution: 1280x800/1280x768). I have also checked my screen's setup & it seems to be okay also, can anybody help me get my full screen back?

We've just bought a TFT monitor and had exactly the same problem as you - a part of the right hand screen was missing. We found the answer at the bottom of the monitor itself. Not easy to see but there is a set of 'buttons' and managed to find one that adjusts the horizontal picture. I realise there are 101 different models, but hope this may help.
