i may be wrong here but i think its region-free for games but not for movies so you would have to import those too.

Im not entirely sure but British television runs on 60 ghz pal 60 and the american television runs of NTSC ( im not sure how many ghz).

So you may need an american television....

a lot of new tv's are NTSC so not difficult to find, if you have a half decent tv now it may be NTSC
