The crucial question is what is date of the FIRST OFFENCE - not the court date.

And the date of this last offence?

If you reach 12 points within three years (dates of offences, not hearings) a minimum 6 month ban is more or less automatic.

If the first offence occurred more than three years before this offence, it will be more points and a fine.

never been to court on any of them so i guess the 31/01/2004 was the offnece date

Unless you can show mitigating circumstances (which is becoming harder by the way) you will get the minimum 6 month ban.
Hey bluesman8998, people don't ask these questions for a lecture on morality! The point is, what's done is done, and these questions are asked for piece of mind and nothing more.
'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.' Following that you're considering blackmail in your own question, I would hardly suggest that you start the mud slinging...
gmcd01,are you on this planet, blues is right,he should pay more attention to the speed limit,it would be nice if he killed someone speeding, lets hope he does get banned,it might teach him a lesson

Ethel,

Thankyou for your advice.
Don't judge BAH434X too harshly. I think most people drive too fast most of the time. I know many people who break the speed limit every single time they drive. BAF has just been unlucky to get caught so many times.
PS Having said that, maybe you could cool your jets and drive a little slower BAH. Speed limits are there for a reason. :) Xx
When you return the fixed penalty notice identifying yourself as the driver the fixed penalty office will check your record. When they determine that 3 more points will make you a totter they will withdraw the provisional offer of a FP and issue a summons instead.

Your latest case will be heard before magistrates. If you plead or are found guilty they will apply a mandatory minimum disqualification of six months. You will be given the opportunity to plead that the loss of your licence will lead to exceptional hardship. It is not easy to succeed with this plea.
"It would be nice if he killed someone speeding". Yet you ask if I'm on this planet, Steve2010?
My point was solely that people who ask questions don't need lecturing on morality, nothing more. I didn't say I condoned speeding, and I don't! But the point is, that wasn't the question...
hi bah434x
i really feel for you as i am in the same state as you having 9 points on my licence already, all for bieing 5 or 6 miles over the limit, (which at 36 miles per hour i dont consider it to be speeding).
i have just been flashed by another camera this morning doing 36 in a 30 mile zone.

id like to know how these boy racers get away with it when they dont have any respect for other laws of the road so i cant see them taking any notice of the speed cameras!!!
