What is the meaning of "make my word your home"?

Sometimes, mankak reviewing the same verse in other translations, helps one to understand the intent of Yeshua's words. Here, He is simply saying to "live" in His word. American Standard Version (ASV) says, abide, The Amplified Version says "If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples."
