To put it simply, im a girl who cant dance. I've been out quite abit and i just feel stupid when im on the dance floor and just stand there! When im drunk im fine, the dancing isnt though.
All my friends are really confident and dont get embarassed.
Is there any other girls that are like this? Please give me advice.

Practice in privacy in front of a mirror then you can see what moves to definitely avoid but you shouldn't really be worried, you should dance to make yourself feel good and not care what you look like! Get a friend who will dance stupidly with you---pointing at each other singing the words is the most fun with minimal effort and you don't look silly cos other people do it all the time!!
hey summersoon, you should try going to some workout classes at your local gym.
This will help with co-ordination and a bit of rythem to plus keeping you fit!
Some clubs (gyms not night!) even have classes in street dance.
Just remember its your night out to so have a good time and s0d everyone else!

"Is there any other girls that are like this?" Yep! I feel like this every time I get up to dance anywhere - even if it's only at a family do.
Anyway, the advice:
Try looking at how other people dance - it might give you some ideas to work with if you're ever feeling a bit stranded on the dance floor.
Even if you're feeling like a complete plonker, try and put on an air of confidence. If you look like you know what you're doing and you're having fun doing it, people won't question it - and you'll start to feel more confident after a while too. It'll also help to loosen you up a bit - when people get on the dance floor and are feeling awkward or self-conscious they don't move very freely and tend to be a bit stiff, but as soon as you start to act confident your muscles should loosen and allow you to move freely and more fluidly.
People don't really take notice of how other people dance as long as they're having fun themselves, so just try to relax and really get into the music without worrying what other people are thinking. Besides, if you're out a a club it's going to be mostly strangers that you never see again, so why not just go for it? When I walk down the street I see hundreds of different people, but I can't remember a single one (no matter how strange) by the end of the day.
Hope I've helped xx
