This is a serious question that needs serious thought. I find it annoying when people make up funny things and laugh away the question not thinking about it.
I think people should think and ask themselves "is life just an accident, and nothing more than the physical or is there something else beyond the physical like God, spirit, soul, some purpose in the creation."
I believe in God, like Theland and Quiet Man.
I also like science. I find life amazing, and cant believe we are just physical matter and chemical reactions etc. How could love be a chemical reaction in our brain that ensures reproduction, so that the human race survives?
How can matter come from nowhere, and then from this matter, in a human, you get emotions and thoughts and purposeful descisions. Are they just signals in our brain or something? i dont think so, i think we are a spirit, with a soul, that lives in a body. All these emotions and things probably come from our soul.
Whats different between people, plants, and rocks? People and plants are alive, rocks aren't. If you somehow make a person with all the parts, and its perfectly complete, and u sumhow get electrical signals in them and stuff, i dont think u can make a person.
Therefore, i think there is something other than the physical, and dying, and rotting. I believe in an afterlife. (if every person alive today has been reincarnated, how come there are more peole than before, i suppose these people believe some people are born for the 1st time and not reincarnated form before, but it doesnt change my view).

After believing in an afterlife, you then have to find the right one. As far as im concerned, there is God, satan, angels, demons (fallen angels) and living people, and those that are dead and waiting to be judged or something, im not sure. Calling on spirits to ask them questions to me sounds like talking to demons who are pretending to be other things like your relatives, and they know things about you, which seems impressive. satan can appear like an angel.
Like i said, i agree with Theland Quiet Man.
(sorry for writing an essay :] )

Funky, how do you prove that something doesn't exist? that is probably impossible!!
Quiet man, "A person who is not a Christian will be condemned to eternal punishment" Its quotes like that, that says I don't want to believe in any God!!! Believe in me or you will pay for it!!! Its things like this that makes me think I am better off out of all these false gods etc, trying frighten people in to believing in a God, what sort of belief system is that!!
I really struggle to believe that so many people are pulled in to all this!!
I'm not condemning or criticizing anybody for their beleifs, I just find it strange that so many people are believers.

Im often asked "If God loves us, why is ther a hell?" etc... im not so sure. All i know was ther was a time when humans lived in a perfect world (no pain/death/tears), but they mucked up and the whole world was corrupted by sin, thats why you die.
People ask about why God punishes us, but he also loves us all, and i reckon it hurts him to know that some people will go to hell.
He has provided a way out, and i know that he is there, willing to forgive us over and over again, for all of our mistakes. So it may seem nasty for God to put us in hell, but it is a descicion we make (choose heaven or hell).
And on the other end, is the unconditional love he has for us, all we have to do is say sorry, acknowledge our mistakes, and ask for forgiveness, and let him help us.
If you wonder why we need him and must do things his way, its because he's right, and heaven will be amazing, all you have to do is get to know him, and you will realise he's not out there waiting with a "delete" button, so he can punish you for not being dictated by him. Its more like a father showing a child how not to fall off the cliff on a narrow road. If you do not listen to him, you will fall off and die, but he loves us so much, he will let us choose. Its like his laws are like the law of gravity. Falling off a cliff is not the punishment for jumping, it is the consequence.

To me dictatorship is more like "obey me or I kill you". God to me is more like "here is the right and safe path, you dont have to choose it, but if you dont choose it, you'll get lost. If you get lost, and ask for help, i can bring you back to the path, because i dont want you to die."
"Don't pull the trigger"
'Why not? Who are you to tell me what to do?'
"You can pull it if you want, but you'll die"
'Mayb its not loaded, maybe it wont work, i can do what i want, i want to find out for myself'
BANG... your dead.
Imagine there was someone who could tell you how to lead your life, so that you are happy and healthy, and live it right and avoid pain? wudnt it be a good idea to listen to them? of course, no human can tell you how to do it, no human is perfect. God can, if you want him to.
Imagine everyone lives their happy lives, then dies, and theres no afterlife, we all become fertiliser. Doest really matter if you followed God or not. Those who believed in God also led happy lives.
What if there is an after life? Those who believed and followed are saved, those who didnt..... dont have things so well.
Mayb its a good idea to think, "is there anything more to life than the physical?" Don't you think you have a soul? how were we made? how was matter made, how were spirits and souls made?
The universe didnt come from nowhere....neither did we.

The problem with christians they always come up with " the world didn't just come from nowhere" well that is just not possible is it!!
But they believe that this so called god has come from nowhere! and single handed made everything we have today!! Well now that is so much more believable isn't it!!!

Nearly all the death, wars and destruction is all down to some so called God.
If we had none of these beliefs, the world would be a far happier place, the whole world is split into fragments because of these so called gods.
I have a happy and balanced life because I don't have such beliefs, I can see this because I am not blinkered, I don't mean to insult, but I think most Christians are afraid to examine their beliefs and the evidence to closely, afraid of what they might find.
I just know I am happier without it!!
