Is BA Strike Action the way to do it?

Ground crew strikes are to force British Airways passengers at Heathrow to find a different way to travel on Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 January.
11,000 workers are to take part in the strike, which is linked to sickness pay disagreements and, overall, 1,300 BA flights would be cancelled if the action goes ahead.
Do you think that the airline workers are right to strike, causing so much disruption, or should they find another way to make their anger known?

I never thought i'd say this but I actually support BA on this one. The Union (as they have always done) are using thier member numbers to resist perfectly reasonable change. And who suffers - Joe Public, just like when the Fire service didn't get what they wanted & went on strike.

Did you hear on the news this morning that a BA employee takes, on average, 3 weeks sick leave per year? 3 weeks!!! I haven't taken 3 weeks in 7 years! they've got away with taking it up until now and now something's being done about they're spitting their dummies.

BA have a pretty awful record when it comes to strikes,Personally we always avoid BA but they do seem to feel hard done by and who forces them to accept the conditions that they work in.
They have more allowed sick days than average, 12 days as opposed to 7.
Most of us struggle into work because we try not to cause disruption to others and as for those who have booked flights, it's not as if they have an easy alternative.
It's a power struggle thing.Wow better off my chest!
