My other half made me marmite on buttered toast then blasted it with one of those flame thrower thingies like they use to do creme brulee. It was amazing! The marmite had a kind of slightly roasted flavour and the butter was dripping off the toast............can feel some coming on right now.....!!
Blend both the marmite into the butter in a dish to make a paste, keep in the fridge and simply spread on toast as and when....always on hand and keeps for ages....great in kiddies sarnies too.
There's a Marmite love it or hate it forum, would you believe? Its on this link http://www.marmite.co.uk/love/ since joining the love it one I have had freebies and a lot of choices to read and try from the marmite lovers that love to eat it in ways I never thought was possible.
I like making it into a drink with a splash of vinegar and some black pepper, but I used to do this at work and got a semi-formal verbal warning about the aroma. I think it tastes lovely as a drink, though...
