Starting relationship newbie
3 Answers
From an early post you may remember but to remind you I came out of a 3 year long relationship with a woman (meet at uni, got engaged) and after struggling to overcome her leaving I joined an online dating site. I'm bisexual and I started chatting to a nice lad last Thursday ... on Saturday night I ended up around his place ... and on Tuesday night again I ended up around his place. Since Saturday we have texted/chatted online to each other all day but I'm just a bit concerned where its going. I have only had that one relationship before and we were living together as friends before we got together so I've never done the normal way of dating but it doesn't quite seem right that the only two times I've met up with this bloke is to sleep the night. He seems really nice and genuine (though got many MMS on his mobile while I was there of men showing they're bits!) but I don't know what counts as too fast or too slow ... I'm thinking that if we haven't done anything (like just go out or stay in watch the TV or something) by the end of the weekend then maybe I we are only "just doing it" nothing more. I'm just after relationship advice really as only having one before and it wasn't a normal one as such as we never dated as we lived together from the beginning, I'm not sure what to expect.
Thanks guys, feel free to ask any questions if anything needs clarifying! x

Although its a great feeling to meet and 'be with' someone when you're feeling crap after a break-up (been there) you have to make sure you're not setting yourself up for a fall.
I would suggest perhaps suggesting a night out where you're not just having sex and you're doing other things, like a dvd or a film / meal etc. If he's not keen then at least you have a better idea about what he is wanting out of this relationship.
