I need to match these 5 plants into 2 pairs and an odd one,according to family.Can you help? If you can't I've got the other pairs wrong!
eggs and bacon,dahlia, old man's beard, sweet pea, pansy.

Dahlia is Compositae
Old Man's Beard is Clematis, Ranunculaceae
Sweet Pea is Lathyrus Odoratus, Leguminosae
Pansy is Viola, Violaceae

Thanks Argee & Grace.I've got the same families as you Argee, which is why I couldn't pair them off. To make things worse, old mans beard has now been removed from the list, and substituted by corn marigold(chrysanthemum family.)
Grace, you've been a great help in sorting one mistake.Without giving the answer away, I've got 2 brassicas, 2 geraniums, 2 roses, 2 hypericum,and 2 clematis for my other pairs. Can you tell me where I've gone wrong please?

Not sure which are the 2 brassicas but yes for the others.

I've put wallflower with dames violet which I suspect might be an incorrect pairing, and I suspect viola is the odd one. Am I getting warmer?
