Sewing machines

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a decent new sewing machine that is driven by hand? I can't get on with an electric one, and my old one is much too heavy.
Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks, PatriciaH. I looked at your link, but then decided it was time I "grew up" so I went and bought a very nice electric one, and have been practising all day. I just need a kick up the backside to make me spend a bit of money :-)
