Anyone recall title of a mini series based in Australia on TV probably in 80's. The lady was called Stephanie and she got attacked by crocodile and disfigured!

I'm the third saddo, I loved Return to Eden - why do we not have mini-series any more. They'd be better than the rubbish that's on telly now!

Scruples was a particular favourite of mine. I remember having a massive crush on the guy in it. I think his name was Spider Elliot?!!

Wasn't there a sequel to Return To Eden? I can't remember what it was called,perhaps it was just a second series with the same title.
Spider was the actor Barry Bostwick,most recently seen over here as the Mayor in Spin City,but also Brad in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.A spider in suspenders.

The ThornBirds,
the one set in the deep south with 'big' hair - was it Pelican Road,
Dallas of course Poldark,
Upstairs/Downstairs,
more Australian ones with a very young Nicole in about being in prison Bangkok Hilton, and another about a family in the 2nd world war [think Nicole was in that one too which had a fantastic 'classical' intro music that haunts me to this day].......
what great entertainment and as someone said..sooo much better than the rubbish these days [I am beginning to sound like my mother so will give up now..]
