hi jan, i narrowed it down to all the 6 boxes on home filled up with no's 4,10,13,15,17, & 23, farm - no's 2,3,5,6,14, & 21, park - caravan park? 7,8,9,12,16 &22, which left 1,11,18 & 20 for the work catagory, (giving 22 answers) leaves 2 spaces in the box which i didn't really understand but obviously the throat didn't seem to fit anywhere,
no 4 - wards-bedrooms
10 - ice surrounding eskimos - igloo
13 - bingo call - house
15 - ram on a canal - barge
17 - smooth,level - flat
23 - no stairs to climb - bungalow,
so couln't fit caravan in the homes section.

please correct me if you find any different answers, took me ages to try & puzzle it out so would be interested to hear any other answers.

I did most of them but like you came up with throat and emailed marinacs with the same as they did not have that one. they then agreed with me so changed their site
sometimes it is easier NOT to do all the answers when one stands out

Hi everyone I think the answer to the question is caravan too but not sure of questions 14 16 & 20. I put the answer to No 4 as hospital thinking about the different wards in them and it is also 8 letters. Please put me out of my misery and tell me the other answers and then I can decide what answer I am giving Cheers!

the way i tried to work it out is-
no 1 - office (work)
2 - hay (farm)
3 - chicken (farm)
4 - bedrooms (home)
5 - tractor (farm)
6 - field (farm)
7 - slide (park)
8 - caravan (park) ....as in a caravan park.
9 - bench (park)
10 - igloo (home) (people live in igloos)
11 - salon (work)
12 - swing (park)
13 - house (home )
14 - stable (farm)
15 - barge (home) (people live on barges)
16 - colosseum (park)
17 - flat (home)
18- building site (work)
19 - THROAT -
20 - surgery (work)
21 - barn (farm)
22 - lake (park)
23 - bungalow (home) as you can see there are six answers for home so i assume caravan goes into the park catagory,
there is only THROAT left over with no where to go !!

hope they give us an easier one next week

thanks allotment10 for all the answers. I too get niggly if I cant solve anything. We have an expression here in my part of the country that "youre like a dog with a bone- cant let go! So heres to future questions & answers fellow compers!Incidentally have been doing Chat & Take a Break competitions and never won a brass fathing (another local saying) from the very first issues!!!
