for right eye: get lense on tip of your idex finger. Hold top half of eye open with left hand (I pull skin upwards from just below eyebrow-this opens up eyelid). The place the two fingers next to little finger on right hand to open up lower eye -place just below lashes and gently pull skin downwards. Look straight ahead into mirror, gently lower lense onto centre of eye. try to get it on evenly (ie all bits of lense make contact with eyball at the same time) or it wont stick to eye and come off your finger. Not getting it to stick to eyeball was greatest prob I had at the beginning. Once it's stuck I make sure, by just pushing it up a bit and letting it find it's own level on the iris. The I close my eye and push gently.
Thats' one eye down, repeat with left eye, using the opposite fingers.
Most of all, if you fail. Have a rest and try again later. The tenser you are, the harder it will be. Dont worry-you'll get it with practice. I used to need half hrs warning about going out-just so I had plenty of time to put lenses in as couldn't for the life of me do it in a rush.
Best of luck! PS, my top tip is start using eye wrinkle cream-as I'm sure all this pulling of eye skin is very bad and I'll be a winkly old lady before my time lol

Awww, make sure your fingers aren't wet as they lens will tend to stick to them rather than your eye. If you're drying your hands avoid towels and such where bits come off so they don't get on your lenses.
Pull the upper and lower lid down gently and put the lens right on your finger tip so it doesn't flip back.
Doing it in front of a mirror also helps.
If at first you don't suceed put them back in the solution and take 5/10 mins out, try and be relaxed and do it gently when trying as I know how frustrating it can be when they won't go in :)
Comfort drops specially for contact lenses can also help them settle and help stop them drying out. I put some in my eye every morning before I put the lenses in and makes a big difference.

Whatever you do, do not put contact lenses in using a bottle of solution which has been opened but unused for about 2 years.
I had to stay over at a friends house once, but had no solution with me. He gave me some that a former girlfriend left at his house years ago.
I've never known pain like it......
