just bought a new computer that runs windows vista....have just tried to run my photo discs that i made from my previous computer, but it will not open them, nothing appears on the screen, it also makes the computer run badly when the disc is in. Have tried other discs which run perfectly, but i don't know much about computers, so am at a bit of a loss can anyone help!?!
Take the computer back to the shop and tell them you want one running XP. If they argue, remind them that goods they sell must be fit for the purpose for which they are intended. Vista might be fit for the purpose of running a computer in a year or so, after service pack 2
Have you tried the disc in another PC to see that IT isn't the problem?
Also does the Photo CD require some software to make it run??? Although would have thought it should still open and let you see the contents!!
have tried running my discs on two different pc's and they run perfectly, but both those are running with XP! beginning to think this may be the prob and rojash may be right, but was hoping i just needed to go to control panel and just switch a program on that allowed me to view them! any other ideas?
