What is the cheapest way to phone home from Vegas ?
obviously not from your hotel room, but each hotel sells phone cards are they a con or okay or is there anything cheaper.

internet call via www.gizmocall.com ? They are free or very cheap minutes.

Buy a International calling phonecard at any grocery store or gas station while in Vagas. Cost is about 10 US Dollars for 30 minutes.

We were charged �40+ for two calls from our room, when mum phoned us, directly to our room, almost daily... her charge via BT was �6!
I suggest you get whoever to phone you, give a designated time, we went for 7.30am at our end (14.30pm UK)

I now understand that if you buy a card out there, the hotel only charge 1 dollar to access the card from the room phone and if you go down to the hotel lobby and use a pay phone you dont pay anything other than the time on the card.
The trouble with me when trying to do that in the room is that I am usually talking to my pal at the same time + long nails and i accidently dial the wrong number and have to make about 3 attempts.

get a voip programme if you will be taking a laptop! Skype charges about .13 euro per minute from USA -CHEAP!!

Buy a phone card from a machine. �10 dollers, it lasted me ages and that was using the hotel phone.. Really easy.
