cam belt

I have a 2002 Corsa 1lt 12V I have done 58000 miles. I was told last year that my car didnt have a cam belt or timing belt, therefore it didnt need changing. Is this true??

it s a timing chain on that model not a belt so it dose not need anything changing
even though you do have a timing chain on your car it is always worth hecking the chain tentioner at the advised time as if the tentioner goes faulty /breaks then the chain although it will stay in place it WILL rub against timing casing eventually all the way through and this could be expensive.
