burning sensation

I have had a pain in my abdomen just under the ribs, for some time, the pain used to come one day and could last for 2-3 days, but it would go again for a couple of months before returning. My doctor at the time said it was gall stones so I have just put up with the pain over the years as I am of the mind that there is always somebody worse than me, and when I think of the little kids with arthritis, I say there is nothing wrong with me, even though I am riddled with arthritis and have c.o.a.d.
I have now been informed that I have a hernia in my abdomen and I am going for an operation to have it repaired, but the pain I get under my ribs has got worse and is there permanently, but over the last two weeks the pain has been really excruciating, and feels as though there is warm water running in my chest. As I said, I am waiting for an operation so don't want to bother the doctor when there are more important cases for him to look after. Has anybody out there had the same symptoms, i.e. the pain, alongwith the hot sensation

I'd seriously advise you to visit your GP asap.. I've never experienced your syptoms but if I had I'd be knocking my GP's door down, I hope you get it sorted ;)

When I had similar symptoms the hospital scan showed I had an infection in my gallbladder and also my liver wasn't coping with toxins and a gastroscope showed I also had gastritis were the lining of the stomach is eroded.Please go to the doctors as I left it because I didn't want a fuss and ended up going to hospital in an ambulance
