Sizzle plate?
6 Answers
Hi, does anyone know where I can buy a 'sizzle plate' off the shelf (not ebay). I'm not even sure if that's the correct name for it which may be hampering my search!
What I'm after is the cast iron oval griddle type plate which you heat in the oven and it comes with a wooden base to stand it on the table.
Any help much appreciated.

Cheers Chris, obviously a schoolboy error on my part for looking for a sizzle plate rather than a sizzling dish but I was close!! lol
Thank you too WW my Saucy Sizzling Scot, a Braserade sounds so much better than a Sizzle plate!! However, being the inept cooking philistine that I am I shall probably just trot down to Argos! ;-) xx
Unfortunately Bev Im all the way down south but many thanks!!
