yukka plants

i dont know much about plants but i have a yukka plant and my yukka plant has two stems a tall one and a very small one the tall one is looking well the smaller one however looks like its dying if not dead it only has a few yellow leaves on it. can i save this stem or should i remove from the other one or could that damage the tall one

Hi Mummy1,
That small stem does'nt sound too healthy and I think your plant will be better off without it. Just cut it off close to the larer stem and it should be ok. Good Luck Tbird+

mummy1 , yes i would prune the small one also the plant your talking about will make people sick if eaten ( just for you information ), so please make sure to wear gloves and let everyone know not to touch without washing hand afterwards . tamtam401967
