windows licence

I've been given a pc that has windows xp trial installed, that says i have 30 days before i need to purchase it. what i want to know is how much is a licence for windows xp?

xp is installed & you need to activate it with in 30 days before it stops working. click on the icon to activate it on line, the licence for the copy of win xp you have on your machine is on the coa sticker on the side of the case.

I may be a trial version and cannot be activated.

There are two versions of XP called Home and Pro and it depends what you have.

If you buy the OEM versions they cost as follows:

Home - about �60

Pro - about �90
