Can anyone tell me how long the railway tunnel between Stroud and Kemble in Gloucestershire is. Also, when it was constructed, and how such a tunnel is maintained.

I don't really know what you mean by how is it maintained? Generally, the quality of work in thoughs days was pretty good and aside from patching up any defective stone/brickwork, there isn't a lot to do.
Steve, your tunnel is not the one being asked about - yours is the Swindon side of Kemble.
